Synaptic was founded in 2020 by Dr. Matthew Hicks with the intention of offering holistic mental health services, training for practitioners in psychedelic/entheogenic medicine, and to conduct clinical research. We are now joined by Drs. Olivia Giguere and Jarrod Franklin, and psychotherapist Greg Robillard. On a limited basis we are able to see patients with CareOregon, a specific provider of Oregon medicaid, but not all of our services are covered by this type of insurance. We do not accept any other type of insurance, but can provide superbills for you to get reimbursed from your insurer. We can also work on a sliding scale on a limited basis and accept HSA/FSA cards. Services offered include somatic psychotherapy, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, psychedelic integration and harm reduction consultation, orthomolecular approach, ayurveda, nutrition, herbal medicine, and more.
