Lusijah Marx

Lusijah Marx is a psychologist who believes in the magic and profound wisdom within each of us. She is passionate about healing work with individuals, groups and in building community with a warm humanistic approach. Her background includes extensive training in Internal Family Systems, hypnosis, guided imagery, EMDR, meditation, motivational interviewing, psychodrama and various forms of movement, sound, and breath work. She is a nurse with a doctorate in clinical psychology. Most recently she completed the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) program in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research and the Inner Trek Psilocybin Facilitator Training Program.

Lusijah is an innovative leader, first founding the non-profit Quest Center for Integrative Health in 1989. The Quest Center serves the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized communities and all people seeking wellness based integrative health care. The Quest Center provides counseling, addiction treatment, pain management and wellness-based healthcare. Lusijah has supported people in living fully in all aspects of adult life including the death and dying process. She recognizes that everyone has healing wisdom and inner guidance within, a “Self,” that is often untapped. Now she can expand her healing work, with her training in psychedelic preparation, facilitation and integration, to help people live a conscious life of self-compassion and integrity while focusing on social justice, love, and equity across the broader community.
