Laura Riley is a licensed professional counselor with over a decade of experience in community mental health and private practice for individuals and groups. She offers clinical consultation for providers. Relationship-based and somatic-centered, Laura’s approach focuses on developmental trauma, attachment/intimacy, grief/loss, and creativity and empowered embodiment. She utilizes EMDR, Sensorimotor, Neuroaffective touch, and expressive arts and shamanic practices in her work with clients and groups. She believes healing and growth happen through relationship with self, others, and the earth. She currently also offers ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for individuals and groups in her practice and facilitates authentic expressive embodiment groups for integration. She values orienting from social justice perspectives in her work, along with cultivating her own ancestral origins of earth based-practices, and organizing and empowering multidisciplinary community support for psychedelic harm reduction, treatment and integration. Laura completed the MDMA-Assisted P psychotherapy training from MAPS, Polaris Training for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and is the founder of Portland Integration Network.
